Story

KALTFRONT started as a dare: one rehearsal, no covers, everything at 220 beats per minute. The EP Eisgang followed in 2021, recorded in two nights.

Sturmflut (2023) took them across Europe twice. Nordwand, their second album, is the slowest and heaviest thing they have made, and still fast.

“We write for the moment the storm hits the harbour wall.” — Mara Voss
